The HDFC Bank offers the ForexPlus Multicurrency Card to customers who are going overseas for purposes, such as vacations, business, studies, etc. You can choose from a list of 23 different currencies to load, and the same currency can be used for both POS and online transactions. Additionally, there is a fee for using an international ATM to withdraw money. The Cross-Currency Markup fee is 2% + GST if transact in currency other than the base currency. For example, if you load currency in USD and you have to make a transaction in Euro, you have to pay markup fees over the amount.
