Hey Sakshi Bains,

If you want to study at the University of Florida but have no money and cannot obtain a scholarship, here are some funding options:

1. Education Loans (Without Scholarships)

International Student Loans (Without Co-signer): Some lenders like Prodigy Finance, MPower Financing, and Leap Finance provide loans without a co-signer.

2. Graduate Assistantships (GA, TA, RA)

Teaching Assistantships (TA): Help professors with teaching, grading, or conducting tutorials.

Research Assistantships (RA): Work on funded research projects and get a stipend + tuition fee waiver.

Graduate Assistantships (GA): General work for departments, including admin tasks.

<> Many assistantships cover 50–100% tuition fees + a monthly stipend (Check UF’s Graduate School website).

3. On-Campus Jobs

- Work 20 hours/week (during the semester) and 40 hours/week (during breaks).

- Jobs in libraries, cafeterias, IT support, and research labs can help cover living expenses.

4. Part-Time Work & CPT/OPT Opportunities

Curricular Practical Training (CPT): Allows paid internships while studying.

Optional Practical Training (OPT): Work for up to 12–36 months after graduation to repay loans.

5. External Funding & Sponsorships

- Look for funding from Indian or U.S. organizations, such as:

 - JN Tata Endowment Loan Scholarship

 - Inlaks Foundation Scholarships**

 - Education loans from SBI, HDFC Credila, or ICICI Through the Abroad Cube https://abroadcube.com/

If you have no money and cannot obtain a scholarship, here are some options to fund your Master's at the University of Florida (or any US university):

Education Loans

  - Indian Banks & NBFCs: SBI, HDFC Credila, Axis Bank, ICICI, Avanse, etc. offer loans for studying abroad. Some require collateral.

  - International Lenders: Prodigy Finance, MPOWER Financing, and Discover provide loans without collateral but often require a co-signer or higher interest rates.

Graduate Assistantships (GA, TA, RA)

  - Many US universities offer Teaching Assistantships (TA), Research Assistantships (RA), or Graduate Assistantships (GA), which can waive full/partial tuition and provide a monthly stipend.

  - Check UF’s departments for available assistantships and apply early.

On-Campus Jobs

  - F-1 visa students can work up to 20 hours per week on campus.

  - Common jobs: library assistant, cafeteria worker, research lab helper, student IT services, etc.

  - Though these jobs don’t cover tuition, they help with living expenses.

University-Specific Payment Plans

  - Some universities, including UF, may allow tuition installments instead of a lump sum payment.

  - Check with the financial aid office about flexible payment options.

Sponsorships & External Grants

  - Look for funding from NGOs, government programs, or private foundations.

  - Some organizations fund students in specific fields (STEM, business, healthcare, etc.).

  - Employer sponsorship is an option if you work in a field where companies fund further studies.

Part-Time Work via CPT & OPT

  - After 1 year, you can work through Curricular Practical Training (CPT) for internships.

  - Post-graduation, Optional Practical Training (OPT) allows work for up to 3 years (for STEM degrees).

  - These options can help you pay off student loans.

Crowdfunding & Side Income

  - Some students use crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe to raise tuition funds.

  - Freelancing (writing, coding, tutoring) can provide extra income.
