For a smooth visa approval with a 2-year study gap and good 12th standard scores, consider these countries:

Canada accepts up to 2 years of study gap with valid justification (Work experience certifications can be needed). Canada always offers the students friendly visa policies and post study work permits.

Germany is the best option for tuition-free education, and Germany accepts study gap if you justify it with relevant activities (Internships, courses).

Germany offers the best education in public universities, offering free tuition; you only pay a small semester fee.

USA - accepts study gap, but if you justify it with relevant activities, USA offers the best education system in the best world ranking universities with flexible scholarships and assistantships. But the SAT/ACT exam will be required for the top universities.

The UK is also asking for you to justify it with relevant activities (Internships, courses), but the UK always focuses more on academic scores than gaps.

Yes, you can definitely study abroad with a 2-year gap after class 12th, especially if you have a valid reason (like health issues, preparation, work experience, or personal reasons) and strong academic records. Countries like Canada, UK, and Australia are relatively more flexible with study gaps, provided you explain it clearly in your Statement of Purpose (SOP). Focus on building a solid application with good language test scores (IELTS/TOEFL) and ensure your documents are in order. If your grades are in CGPA, make sure to convert your CGPA to percentage properly, as some universities require scores in percentage format.
