SAT Exam - Fees

Digital SAT exam fee is different for USA and International students. For USA-based students, the exam is US$60. However, for International and Indian students, the digital SAT fee is US$103, comprising US$43 regional and US$60 exam fees. If we convert the exam fees, it is equivalent to ₹8500 in India.

Indian students can pay their exam fees via Credit Card or PayPal. Credit cards include American Express, MasterCard, Diners Club, or JCB. You will be given a deadline to pay the fees. But if you delay the payment, a fine will be imposed. Here are some other fee charges:

Fee Waiver

Students in Class 11th or 12th can consider SAT Fee Waivers if they cannot afford exam fees. International and local students of the US and its territories are eligible for SAT fee waiver. To be considered, the applicant must meet at least one of the following requirements:

  • Orphan: If you are an orphan, homeless, state ward or living in a public house or foster care, then you are eligible to get under the category of fee waivers.
  • Government support: If your family is taking help from the government to fulfil daily needs, then you are considered for a fee waiver.
  • NSLP: If you're a federal National School Lunch Program participant, you are considered under fee waiver.
  • Annual Income: If your family's annual income is within the USDA Food and Nutrition Services income eligibility guidelines, you are considered under a fee waiver.

If you meet any of these requirements, the College Board will waive your SAT exam, and you can give your exam free of cost.
