SAT Exam - Results & Scores

The scoring for the digital SAT exam remains unchanged. The total marks contained by pen-paper SAT and digital SAT is 1600. The 1600 marks are subdivided into two subjects, English & Mathematics, 800 each. Each section ranges from 200 to 800; if an applicant chooses an essay, the score range will be 2-8. The weightage of each question varies on the difficulty level of the question. The more a question is complex, the more marks it will carry. Same if a question is easy. The fewer marks it will weigh. To get admission to the best university, you need minimum scores of 1500-1550.

The SAT exam results are usually declared 13 days after the exam. Once the results are declared, the College Board sends scores to the colleges or universities, you have selected after around 10 days of the result declaration.

Modules

1. English - The English section consists of 800 scores, where 800 is further divided into two sections Reading and Writing, with 400 each. Each section’s score range is 100-400.
2. Mathematics - Another section of SAT is Mathematics, where mathematics marks are 800. These 800 marks are divided into modules, module-1 and module-2, with 400 gross marks. The score range for each module in mathematics is also the same as in English 200-400.

How to check Digital SAT Results

A student can check their Digital SAT result after a few days (usually 13) after the test. You can check your result online by following the given steps:

1. Visit the Official College Board website.
2. Sign in using your registered email and password.
3. Click on My Organizer and go to the section SAT scores.
4. Click on Access my scores and enter your username and password again.
5. Go to Test My Scores, and your mark sheet will appear.
6. You can get a hard copy of your mark sheet with a printout.

Conversion of SAT Score to ACT Score
