What is the Australian PR Points System

DHA Australia offers a General Permanent Residency pathway program, where eligible applicants can apply for Residency directly from their Home Country and migrate to Australia based on their profile. To select the applications, the DHA uses a points-based system, where each eligible factor in the application is assigned a specific number of points. To apply under these subclasses, you must fill out the Expression of Interest (EOI) application, and you will need a minimum of 65 points to be eligible.

  1. Skilled Independent Visa (subclass 189)
  2. Skilled Nominated Visa (subclass 190)
  3. Skilled Work Regional Visa (subclass 491)

Minimum Points Required for Australia PR Invitation

Under the Skilled Migration category and subclasses 189, 190, and 491, you must achieve 65 points to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) application without considering Sponsorship points.
