Typo correction in GRE Account profile details

I booked my GRE Test Center exam a few days back by myself. Today, I checked my order details and found that my first and last names do not match exactly with the Passport. What should I do now?

Having a Typo or a missing middle name in the GRE Account Profile is a standard error. There is a minor procedure you have to complete to rectify the mistake and smoothly attempt your GRE Exam. 

Step by Step for Correction in the GRE Account Profile

  1. Log in to your GRE Account and Copy the ETS ID.
  2. Write an Email and enter your Corrected Name, DOB and Other personal information. Mention your registered Email Address, Phone Number, ETS ID and attach a scanned copy of your Passport. 
  3. Send the Email to GRESupport4India@ets.org if you are from India or GRESupport4Korea@ets.org if you are from South Korea, or gre-info@ets.org for all other Countries from your registered Email Address. 
  4. Wait for 1-2 working days, and it will be rectified in your ETS GRE profile. 

In most cases, we observed that the ETS Support Team rectify the corrections the same day. 

Please note that you are required to complete the process at least three working days before your GRE Test Appointment. If the profile information does not match with the Passport on the Exam Day, you will not be allowed to attempt the test. The Test Appointment will be considered Cancelled without any refund.
