There are two methods of registration for the IELTS exam in India.

Please note you are not required to carry personal stationary or water bottle as they provide it.
If your IELTS exam date is more than 34 days away, you can reschedule your test without submitting any documents or charges. However, if you have more than 15 days and less than 34 days, you must upload a supporting document such as Medical Certificate, Police FIR, Death/Cremation certificate etc. The IELTS will verify your request and convey their decision through your registered email address. You can choose the new test centre and date if they approve your request. You must also pay Rs 4000 as rescheduling fees while booking the new exam. If your exam date is less than 15 days away, you cannot reschedule.

To re-schedule your IELTS exam, you have to follow the steps
If the time between the exam date and the cancellation date is less than 15 days, then you are not allowed to cancel the exam. However, you can cancel the exam without a document or question if the exam date is more than 34 days away, and you will get a full refund. If your exam date is between 15-34 days, your cancellation request is subject to approval, and you must submit valid proof such as Medical records. If your cancellation request is accepted, you will get a refund minus administrative fees of Rs 4000. The refund takes up to 8-10 working days to get processed.
