The IELTS exam fee in India is set to increase to ₹19,000, up from the previous fee of ₹18,000. This hike of ₹1000 is applicable to both IELTS Academic and IELTS General exams, whether Computer-Delivered or Pen-Paper-based. The revised fee is applicable from 1st April 2026 onwards.

Should You Register Before April 1?

If you are planning to take the IELTS exam in the upcoming months, you should definitely book your IELTS Exam before 1st April 2026 to avail the benefit. The IDP allows free rescheduling if your booked test date is at least 34 days away.
