PTE Fee Hike 2026: Exam Cost Rises to ₹18,900 from March 16

Pearson India has officially revised the pricing of the PTE Exam (Pearson Test of English) in India starting 16th March 2026. They are set to increase the exam price to ₹18,900, up from the previous price of ₹18,000. The hike of ₹900 will apply to PTE Academic, PTE UKVI, and PTE Core. The revised fees will apply to bookings made after 15th March 2026.

Should You Register Before 16th March 2026 ?

If you are planning to take the PTE Exam anytime within 2 months, you should definitely book a slot at your preferred test centre to get the full benefit of the discounted price. The Pearson PTE permits rescheduling the test slot anytime up to 14 days before the Scheduled Slot without any charges. For example, if you booked a Slot for 5th April 2026 on 14th March 2026, you can change your time slot till 21st March 2026 (1 additional day on the safer side). You can choose any available test date within the next 60 days.

Pro Tip: You can book your PTE Slot at the current price of ₹18,000 (including GST), even if you choose the later date.
