The Indians looking to travel to the UK must undergo a Medical Test before a Visa application. It is mandatory for tourists, students, spouses, workers, and almost all visa applicants. An authorized Medical clinic must issue the medical report. Otherwise, it will be rejected. The UK Medical report is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
You must call your nearest clinic to book an appointment and be present on the day of the appointment. Some clinics have Online Booking systems to book your appointment and pay online.
UK Embassy prescribes no fixed charges, so clinics can set prices based on the services provided. Depending on the clinic, you can expect to pay between Rs 2000-2500. Some clinics charge you more as well.
No, fasting is not required.
Yes, a female candidate can undergo UK medical test during her periods, as the Tuberculosis X-Ray test has nothing to do with the menstrual cycle.
