At Cambrian College turn a passion for the environment into a career that helps protect, maintain, and restore the natural surroundings. Gain the technical skills and practical field experience to identify, measure, and record environmental variables within the air, water, soil and living organisms. This program prepares students to perform appropriate sampling, use state-of-the-art equipment, and assist in the remediation and long-term evaluation and monitoring of contaminated ecosystems. The program will prepare students to work on a variety of projects related to climate change issues, water conservation and management, and other sustainability issues. Throughout the program, students will also build their knowledge of pertinent environmental regulations and policies.
