Skilled administrative support is vital to today's fast-paced business environment. In this one-year program, students will learn from professionals in the field while developing core skills in communication, problem-solving, computer applications, accounting and office procedures.
Intermediate training in a variety of computer applications will also be combined with understanding the workplace to prepare for a variety of entry-level office administration career opportunities. Using these skills, students will be capable of producing correspondence, presenting information, providing customer support, responding to routine inquiries and supporting the management of small organizations or a department in a large organization.
Throughout the program, students will also have the ability to network with industry contacts through their participation in the International Association of Administrative Professionals (London Chapter).
Graduates who successfully complete this program will leave with a set of highly transferable skills, ready to jump into a successful administrative career or choose to further specialize with one additional year of study to graduate with a diploma in Office Administration - Health Services or Office Administration - Executive.
