Loughborough's MSc Business Psychology programme is accredited by the Association for Business Psychology and is designed for students wishing to develop a career in business psychology, human resource management or as a business consultant. Taught by experienced researchers and practitioners, students will be given in-depth training to equip them with the ability to apply the science of psychology to a wide range of important business issues including: change management; employee selection and development; leadership; and work motivation, well-being and performance.
The strong emphasis on developing skills in critical thinking, consultancy, and working with organisational stakeholders will enable students to operate effectively at all levels within organisations. Students can choose to extend and cement their practical skills by completing a research project that allows them to apply their knowledge to an organisational issue. Alternatively, students may conduct a focused literature review that examines how psychological research and theory may be applied to a contemporary business problem.
A blended learning, block teaching approach is used to make the Master's in Business Psychology equally accessible to both full-time students and part-time students in full-time employment looking to further develop their career.
