The influence of machine learning and big data on business decision-making is greater than ever. Here, students will discover how to convert data into game-changing solutions.
The world is driven by data, AI and machine learning. Organisations are generating and capturing trillions of bytes of information from touchpoints with customers, supply chains and businesses all over the world, meaning there’s a high demand for those able to convert that data into insights – enabling companies to offer innovative solutions for their consumers.
Students will learn how to code, programme and control large, complex data sets with professional algorithms – mastering the art of data analysis, trend identification, problem solving and effective communication.
Using analytical tools like Python, R, Excel/VBA and Power BI, students will also develop the skills to interpret, conceptualise and convert that data into valuable consumer insights – identifying market trends and patterns and using them to drive business strategy and decision making. From this, students will create powerful solutions that can increase sales, enhance customer experiences and develop new products that meet consumer needs.
In the final term, students will delve deep into customer and artificial intelligence, taking on either a professional placement, consultancy project or dissertation – enabling them to network and work alongside real industry players.
