Computer Engineering Technician at Sheridan College at

Sheridan College's Computer Engineering Technician Diploma program enables students to study basic concepts that are relevant to both electronics and computer engineering. They will then learn more specialized skills and tools, including programming, operating systems, programmable logic devices, and microprocessors and microcontrollers. Students will be able to put their new skills to the test and gain experience using cutting-edge technology in the labs of the state-of-the-art Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design. There, students will work with and be inspired by students and professors from the entire suite of engineering programs, including Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering degrees. Computer Engineering Technician graduates can either enter the workforce or go directly into the final year of Sheridan's Computer Engineering Technology advanced diploma program. Students will also have completed all the academic requirements for professional certification with the Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists (OACETT).
