This course is delivered by the AACSB-accredited Business School, an accreditation attained by fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide. It recognises Bournemouth University's focus on excellence in all areas. It is also accredited by the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM) which means students may be eligible to sit an extra exam to achieve the IDM Professional Certificate alongside their degree.

In an increasingly digitalised business environment, there is a growing demand for graduates in managerial roles with the skills to design and manage digital marketing strategies. This course will introduce students to a range of digital marketing concepts and an understanding of the planning, implementation and evaluation of various digital marketing tools.
While specialising in digital marketing, the course is complemented by broader marketing management concepts such as strategy setting, product development, communications and branding. Students will also develop their leadership and management skills to become a competent and successful manager.
Students will also complete a 30-week work placement in a marketing related role to further enhance their employability.
