The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning graduate certificate program has been designed for students with diverse software development backgrounds who want to acquire specialized skill sets in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). With a particular focus on Deep Learning Neural Networks, the student will learn to design Convolutional Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks and Generative Adversarial Networks technologies in areas such as healthcare, bioscience, manufacturing, financial services and supply chain sectors.
Additionally, students will work with mainstream technologies like Google’s TensorFlow to train various machine learning models using “big data” and state of the art hardware. Students will learn and apply skills in project management, communication and teamwork through applied industry-based research projects, a co-operative work term and a comprehensive capstone project.
