Quality engineers play a vital role in ensuring that products are being manufactured, installed and are operating to the required specifications. In this program, students use the latest software systems and innovative technologies while learning to design and develop systems, equipment and products for all areas of the manufacturing, software/IT and service sectors. Students will gain critical knowledge and skills about quality engineering, global standards for quality and how they translate into Canadian industry quality management practices recognized as Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma and Learn Manufacturing. Upon successful program completion, students will be eligible for multiple industry certifications.
