This Master's in Management (with Professional Placement) is designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills in business and management which reflect relevant research, best practice and innovative thinking to enhance their employability.
Designed for those wishing to adopt a multidisciplinary approach to their studies and seeking exposure to the widest possible range of business disciplines, the University of Bradford's programme is the first step for students to start an exciting career in business and management.
Students do not need to have studied business/management at undergraduate level.

In addition, students will have the opportunity to tailor their learning to their own personal interests or planned career path. They can choose from a range of optional modules as part of the University of Bradford extensive postgraduate management portfolio.
Throughout this programme, students will be exposed to real business practice and learn from real-life examples, and excellent teaching and collaboration with industry will give them an edge with employers.
The three-month industry placement allows students to build on the professional skills developed during the programme, and boost their practical industry experience prior to going into employment. Students will have opportunities to develop their professional network, apply knowledge to business practices, and prepare for leadership roles in their chosen field.
Placements will be sourced either by the student themselves or the University of Bradford, and students will receive support from the Careers Centre. The onus shall be on students to secure the placement with appropriate support available from the University of Bradford. The placement will be assessed by a 10-credit Professional Placement Report, in which students will reflect on the key learnings of their placement.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) accredit this programme. This means that, by successfully completing the degree, students are eligible for exemptions from some ACCA fundamental level examinations.
