Adult Education is about lifelong learning. It’s about enabling people to continue on a path of learning, of skills development, and of personal enrichment.
UNB’s Adult Education program combines credit courses with academic research, applied projects, and continuing professional development workshops. Students will learn how to plan, administer, and deliver training to adults of all ages in all contexts, and students will explore principles of adult learning, the nature of adult learners, and the history and philosophy of adult education.
The Faculty of Education offers a Certificate in Adult Education (CAEd), a Bachelor of Education (BEd) in Adult Education, and a consecutive BEd in Adult Education.
The blended distance technologies enables UNB to reach students across the country and network with colleagues from around the world. In addition, because the students have at least one year of experience in adult education, students will be working alongside professionals with varying degrees of experience in multiple fields. All of this leads to a richer learning experience.
