This course will provide students with the ability to see businesses holistically and the knowledge to successfully lead and manage in an engineering context. There is a varied lecture and seminar programme, with extensive group work, case studies and guest speakers from a range of backgrounds. Assessment is through coursework-based assignments.
Studying the MSc Engineering Management will give those with some management experience the opportunity to put their organizational leadership practice into context. It will enhance the prospects of leaders and managers from the engineering sector, and help them take advantage of future career opportunities. Graduates may also progress on to an engineering PhD or engineering research degree.
