Upon graduation, students will be in a position to effectively make decisions and advise on a wide range of influences on business and HR strategies. Students will develop the ability to supply accurate and timely advice about UK legislation, helping shape improvements to organisational and individual performance. There's an opportunity to study and be able to implement HRM policies and practices that take into account influences from different stakeholders and institutional forces relevant to the dealing with people’s contributions and rewards within organisations.
This programme is designed for people who, on the basis of their first degree and/or work experience in people management, wish to acquire further study of more contemporary and in depth HRM knowledge. The skills and competencies students will pick up throughout their studies are required for domestic and international organisations, and in the public and private sectors.
There will be opportunities to work with local organisations, giving students the chance to further understand the nature of their intended profession.
