This conversion course is delivered by the AACSB-accredited Business School, an accreditation attained by fewer than 5% of business schools worldwide. It recognizes BU's focus on excellence in all areas.
Project Managers are responsible for the strategic management of projects, ensuring their completion within the constraints of time, cost and quality. This course will develop critical awareness of project management approaches and change management in a global business environment, as well as within wider society. It is a conversion course that will enable students to change subject or career direction.
Students will also develop their personal leadership skills in order to be a successful and responsible manager. In addition, the core units will encourage students to participate in contemporary management debates whilst gaining a wider understanding of management functions and how they are related.
Students' learning environment will include workshops and lectures supported by new technology and online material. There will also be a mix of teamwork and individual study encouraging students to become independent learners through research and project work. Students will have the option to complete a research project or a consultancy project.
With an optional 30-week work placement as part of the course and an expert teaching team, students will be well prepared for work when they graduate.
