The Associate Certificate in Computerized Accounting program prepares students with a foundation of accounting and software skills, with courses and options that meet their needs.
With the accounting and software skills students will develop in this certificate program, they’ll prepare to advance into a new career, grow in their current accounting position, or better manage and run their business. Many of BCITs students graduate and work as accounting clerks or bookkeepers immediately upon completion of their certificate and then pursue additional training part-time for even more job opportunities while working in their field.
The courses in this program, all developed and taught by working professionals, give students the most up-to-date information with hands-on learning for the usable skills they’ll need with business’s most necessary programs like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Documents, WordPress, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Students will also be able to apply the credits earned in this program toward earning additional certificates, a BCIT diploma, or Bachelor of Accounting degree.
Please note: Flexible Credential programs are part-time however enrollment in these programs does not affect PGWP eligibility.
