Whether students already have a degree or just graduated high school, the Finance certificate program at BCIT gives them a solid foundation in accounting, economics, finance, and investing principles to prepare them for a variety of stable, rewarding careers.
Through a series of courses designed by industry professionals, students will gain specific skills and knowledge in financial analysis and investing that’s complementary to the program’s accounting curriculum. This prepares students to pursue an accounting designation or a new career with confidence. Program courses are also transferable to the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia (CPABC).
Students who earn their certificate at BCIT prepares them for positions in a variety of industries and locations. By developing their essential foundation in a range of topics, they’ll have the practical skills they need to work in entry-level jobs in financial services and accounting and the knowledge and confidence to create their own successful career.
Additionally, with their certificate, students will be able to accelerate their education by applying their course credits to the Finance diploma for even better job skills and prospects.
