Today’s economy is more global than it ever has been and that means there are more opportunities than ever before for people who are trained for effective supply-chain management.
In what’s quickly becoming one of BCIT’s most popular programs, students will learn the techniques today’s successful managers and logistics coordinators use for market analysis, effective entry strategies, transportation, and planning for international trade and transportation.
Since each course in the program is developed by working professionals in operations and international trade, students will get the most current, up-to-date information and the practical skills they can use in their everyday duties in supply chain management and logistics. This includes courses from the Canadian Institute of Traffic & Transportation (CITT) and the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association.
Students hands-on training through this program helps prepare them for advanced careers in managing supply chains for manufacturing and distribution. Additionally, they’ll have the skills and knowledge for market analysis and effective entry strategies, transportation alternatives, and logistics planning they can apply immediately to running their own small business or to help them transition in their career.
Please note: Flexible Credential programs are part-time however enrollment in these programs does not affect PGWP eligibility.
