This unique program gives students a combination of business skills and entrepreneurial knowledge to help prepare them to run an existing small business, get their new idea off the ground, or greatly enhance an existing marketing-related position in an established company.
Often, the most successful people are those who know how to make new ideas happen or create their own ideal jobs and companies. By earning an Entrepreneurship associate certificate from BCIT, students will be learning to do exactly that. Through a series of courses, they’ll develop their ability to create, promote, and manage a start-up company, grow a small business, or apply their innovative ideas in their current position. This program is ideal for those who want to be prepared for the frontier of the new economy-entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Through this program, students will develop the broad base of skills every entrepreneur needs to manage the many aspects of business. By earning their associate certificate, students will be prepared to begin their journey into a start-up or to better manage their existing small business. Many forward-thinking employers also look to hire people who can think innovatively and apply the entrepreneurial spirit to improve their company.
Please note: Flexible Credential programs are part-time however enrollment in these programs does not affect PGWP eligibility.
