The Chemical Engineering Department offers practice-oriented programs to develop well-trained professionals who will be successful in their careers and prepared for advanced studies.
Tailored to working professionals with evening classes, CSULB’s Master of Science in Chemical Engineering program helps practicing engineers increase their job competence or prepare for further advanced study. Students can complete their Master of Science degree with a thesis or comprehensive exam. A limited number of teaching or research assistant positions are available.
