Founded in 1864 by The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod as a college for teachers, Concordia-Chicago effectively combines the benefits of experiential learning in a world-class city, personalized mentoring from professors who put students first, and ethical leadership development. Concordia University Chicago (CUC) specializes in combining 21st century knowledge and skills development with opportunities for a values-based education that is focused on the student. CUC offers undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as doctoral degrees.
