On this course, students will learn how they can play a key role in developing, reinforcing and changing the culture of an organisation through effective management of human resources and creation of sound business strategy.
In-depth study of practice and contemporary theories will equip students with an advanced knowledge of management principles in business and HR. De Montfort University will take the study of management and organisations from its historical roots to the present day, and, using real-life examples, De Montfort University will teach students to critically analyse organisational development and the possible consequences on human resource management.
The international aspect to the course allows students to explore the complexities of management within organisations that operate and trade across multiple countries, and gain an understanding of management in a global context. Learn how to look at company accounts from both the shareholder and the company perspectives, and discover the importance of organisational culture and identity. Students will also evaluate the impact that external affairs can have on organisational strategy and behaviour.
