Students can plant the seeds for their future success in Lethbridge College’s Agriculture Sciences program. Choose from majors in Agriculture Business, Agronomy or Animal Science, and be ready to make a difference working in one of Canada's most diverse and vital industries. Students will learn from instructors with first-hand experience, dividing their time between classroom instruction, benchtop processes, industry involvement and practical application.
In these programs, students will learn the scientific background to why we do what we do in agriculture. In addition to learning from textbooks and computers, students will also get a foundation in the ever-changing sector through workshops, tours and involvement with alumni and specialized ag partners. This program ladders directly into the Bachelor of Agriculture Science program.
