Designed with input from environmental industry partners, the Ecosystem Management degree program builds on your diploma in Resource Management, Environmental Assessment and Restoration or environmental sciences.
Through two distinct program streams, the degree prepares you for work in the fields of environmental management and restoration or fish and wildlife management.
Thanks to a curriculum that focuses on industry-relevant technical and field skills, this two-year program offers more than the traditional bachelor degree. Integrating applied field and lab skills with theoretical studies, the Ecosystem Management degree culminates in a meaningful capstone learning experience, where you’ll test your skills in the forests, mountains and fields that will one day be your workplace.
And did we mention how you’ll be able to acquire non-credit certifications? Courses like ATV operations, H2S Alive and electro-fishing will occur as part of field trip season. You’ll have to pay for these courses out-of-pocket, but they’ll give you a competitive edge before you even enter the workforce.
