With its MSc Construction Project Management with Building Information Modelling (BIM) programme, Loughborough University combines its heritage in teaching Construction Management, with its world-leading research in building performance, simulation and information management. The BIM programme is tailored for construction professionals focusing on an increasingly important area for the industry. Digital technologies are revolutionising construction, and such tools, platforms and underlying processes all fit within the term BIM.
The objective of the course is to further enhance and develop project management expertise by complementing it with contemporary demands to integrate expertise and skills in BIM. Students will take core modules in project management and BIM, as well as choosing from a wide range of more specialised option modules in management and simulation. The modules are designed to deliver a high quality educational experience that develops and sustains students’ knowledge, skills and aspirations in the further advancement of their career within an evolving construction industry fit for the digital age.
