Successful modern organisations depend on managers with a broad business acumen who can make effective and timely decisions and who are capable of handling and analysing large volumes of information. The MSc Management will equip students with the key skills sought by employers for a wide range of careers in business management and consultancy.
The programme is designed to create the next generation of outstanding business managers and leaders. It is ideally suited to students who have taken a non-business undergraduate degree, though those with a business background will be considered.
As a student of our Master's in Management, students will be taught by leading academic experts who bring their latest research developments into the classroom. Loughborough University's experience of working with a wide range of industrial partners and managerial teams have fed directly into the design of this programme. The wide range of optional modules also gives students the flexibility to tailor the course to suit their individual career aspirations.
Students will learn the fundamentals of managing people and organisations and they will gain a good understanding of the primary factors shaping the contemporary business environment. The modules will see students develop an integrated and critically aware understanding of management. They will help students develop the skills they need to systematically and creatively apply the knowledge they gain to complex issues to improve business and management practice. Students will thereby acquire the practical capabilities needed for the challenges of the fast-paced business environment.
