Supply Chain Management - Enterprise Resource Planning at Loyalist College at Toronto Business College

Before products hit the shelves, there’s a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes – from purchasing materials and coordinating inventory to the distribution of finished goods. As global trade widens and deepens, demand continues to rise for skilled workers in the areas of supply chain logistics and international trade compliance. Prepare for a range of careers within the expanding field of supply chain management with this two-year post-graduate program. As a graduate of Loyalist College's Supply Chain Management – Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) post-graduate program, students may be eligible for advanced standing into the certified Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation Program. Graduates with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 are granted exemption from four modules and two interactive workshops in accordance with the Supply Chain Management Association Ontario (SCMAO) and Loyalist's Partnership Agreement.

Students will prepare for a career in effective project management across various industries:

  • Learn to manage project goals, constraints, deliverables, quality control and resource requirements as defined by stakeholders.
  • Explore different leadership styles to effectively manage issues and resolve conflicts.
  • Gain knowledge on facilitating communication, negotiation and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Demonstrate the development of a comprehensive project plan to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Learn to analyze financial information to promote operational effectiveness and to support and monitor the scope, planning, procurement, risk and budget of projects.
  • Get first-hand workplace experience with a co-op work term in semester four.

Co-ops in work terms are valuable work-integrated learning experiences in which students demonstrate outcomes from previous semesters in Canadian industry settings. In addition to building skills and identifying career contacts, co-ops in work terms add industry-relevant experience to students’ résumés. The co-op job market is competitive, and students will be expected to participate actively in their job searches. Students will be supported with information and skills to attain co-ops.
