Sales and Event Coordinator is a new and innovative program Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology has developed in partnership with the Manitoba Tourism Education College. The successful and long standing cross institutional partnership with the college and sector council benefits students in all areas of training and employment. Although students will receive the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology credential upon successful completion, the 10 months of occupational specific, career development and technical courses are delivered by Manitoba Tourism Education College.
Manitoba Tourism Education College facility is located close to Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology, on Scurfield Boulevard. At the end of the program, Manitoba Tourism Education College will connect eligible students with one of their numerous industry contacts to practice their skills in a 120 hour work practicum.
Upon successful completion, students will receive a Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology certificate and will have the confidence needed to excel in a fast paced and dynamic environment while building relationships with industry and customers.
