From Cambodia to Serbia, Rwanda to WWII, genocides shock the world and resonate through the ages.
Students will pursue advanced independent research into their own area of interest in the field of Holocaust and Genocide Studies, supported by academics with world leading research expertise. While grounded in history, this course's approach is interdisciplinary, drawing on memory and heritage studies, the social sciences and more.
Students will have the unique opportunity to collaborate with Nottingham Trent University's partner institutions, including museums and research centres. Students will also have the chance to present their work at Nottingham Trent University's History Postgraduate Conference, and other conferences around the region and beyond. The degree comprises independent research and a course designed to develop knowledge of key research skills and practices.
