Nottingham Trent University's MSc Management and Global Supply Chain Management course is a unique course for those considering a career within logistics, operations and supply chain management. Students will explore the management of operations at a strategic level, before developing their understanding of the global supply chain and how organisations within it perform in relation to one another.
During their studies, students will be firmly rooted in understanding the global supply chain and Nottingham Trent University will provide students with a broad knowledge of the principles and concepts underlying the strategic and operational performance of organisations in relation to one another within the international supply chain. Student will build on their practical skills by analysing realistic data to explore the questions they might confront in an operations role and in a global supply chain environment.
In the third semester, students will choose an experiential project. With the opportunity to use their skills in a real-world setting, students can choose from completing a consultancy experience project, an in-company experience project, or a business research project.
This degree is aimed at students with either no background in business and management who want to develop a career in this field, or those who have a qualification in business and management but want to become more competitive and progress their careers.
Each student will be allocated an Academic Mentor at the beginning of the academic year and they will meet with them regularly throughout the year. Academic Mentors help students make the most of their time at Nottingham Business School.
