Saskatchewan Polytechnic's School of Hospitality and Tourism is well known for the quality of programs, demonstrated by a 94% graduate employment rate. Students will join the growing network of Sask Polytech alumni making their mark in leadership positions in one of the world's fastest growing industries.
The Hospitality and Tourism Management post-graduate certificate is a one-year post-graduate program that combines the best of two worlds to fast-track students into management careers.
Hospitality and tourism are dynamic, diverse industries. The management skills students build at Sask Polytech let them move easily between hospitality to tourism sectors -- but students can apply them to careers in other sectors as well, including health care, education, financial services, and marketing and communications.
The one-year post-graduate certificate program condenses the core skills of two diploma programs into an advanced one-year course that will set students up for leadership roles in hospitality and tourism. They will build skills in financial management, human resources, sales and marketing, leadership and group dynamics, business planning, organizational behaviour and more. They will also gain specific skills in hotel, restaurant, tourism and facility management.
