Students will learn from Sheridan's highly qualified professors who have strong academic backgrounds and extensive experience working with young children, their families and the community. This uniquely designed curriculum room will encourage and support students' learning by providing hands-on experiences in a simulated early learning classroom. Students will also have the chance to transfer their learning into practice by completing two different field placements in a variety of settings which may include Sheridan's highly acclaimed childcare centres, before and after school care, kindergarten classrooms or other early learning settings. Sheridan College's ECE program focuses on applying research-based theory to practical experiences that encourage young children’s learning, growth and development.
