Mechanical Engineering Technology at Sheridan College at

The Sheridan College Advanced Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology program helps students build a strong foundation of mechanical engineering knowledge in the first two years. Students will be exposed to more specialized subjects in their final two semesters. They will gain a strong understanding of niche concepts such as mechanical design, machine kinematics and dynamics, programmable controllers, fluid mechanics and energy systems, leading to better career opportunities when they graduate. Sheridan's labs simulate the workplace, but there's no substitute for real-world experience. Students will be able to put their new mechanical engineering skills to work for Sheridan's industry partners in two paid co-op terms: one after their third semester and another in their third year of studies. Students will also work with peers on capstone research and applied research projects that help Sheridan's partners resolve real-world issues.
