In this program, students will explore a broad range of feminist perspectives from a lens of social justice, in the classroom and within the community. Students who choose co-op stream also have the opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to a professional environment. Students will dive deep into conversations about labour, health, history, popular culture, law, the environment, social policy, literature, and globalization, and apply learnings as they get real-world experience and prepare to land that first post-graduation job. At Trent University, students will develop interdisciplinary perspectives on the ways that feminism intersects with critical race, disability, decolonial and critical sexuality studies, giving them the tools, knowledge and experience to champion awareness, education and change in their career.
