Students can study the archaeology of a time and place not explored in other Archaeology programs in Ontario with professors who are experts currently working in the field. Students will discover the complex and diverse history of human activity in the ancient Mediterranean. Move beyond the traditional study of the Classical world by exploring the cultures that preceded and developed alongside ancient Greece and Rome. Students will gain an appreciation not only for the rich and varied cultural landscape of this dynamic region, but also for the ways in which past human activities continue to shape the modern world.
