To develop innovative responses to the challenges that arise in healthcare, social care and wellbeing domains across the world, new ways of thinking with different mind and skillset about the issues are needed.
University of Dundee does this by bringing together knowledge of healthcare systems combined with design thinking, creativity and developing empathetic people who can navigate healthcare domains and generate innovative responses to key challenges.
This course brings together people from a range of backgrounds (healthcare professionals, designers, business people, charity professionals etc.) who are passionate about improving health and wellbeing and who can bring their experiences and skills, and work with other people, to generate creative response to problems in this field.
Students will benefit from the cross-disciplinary expertise of the University of Dundee’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, the School of Medicine and the School of Health Sciences. The V&A Dundee’s Design for Business team also contribute to the design modules. The course will support students in the development of their skillsets through collaboration with people from different backgrounds and working with experts in their fields.
