Studying in University of Dundee's School of Science and Engineering and School of Business, students will develop skills, knowledge and understanding of specialized industry focused engineering and fundamental international finance subjects.
On the engineering side, students will study a number of subjects, including advanced robotics, where they will look at multi-modal sensor integration and human-robot interactions, and advanced manufacturing, where they will investigate modern and smart manufacturing technologies.
On the international finance side, students will study a number of subjects, including corporate finance, global risk analysis, and forecasting. Students will combine their engineering knowledge and ideas with economic strategy, to analyze asset pricing and capital budgeting, interact with global markets and make informed business decisions.
Under the guidance of Dundee's academic staff, students will undertake an industrial related project for at least 12 weeks, gaining practical experience and valuable contacts in the industry. Recent project examples have looked at the enhancement of the cylinder block cleaning process and the implementation of self-supporting hose projects.
