If students have graduated from a non-computing subject and are looking to enhance their computing skills while gaining a knowledge of the global business environment, then this is the course for them.
This University of Dundee course offers a practical mix of technical computing modules, such as software engineering and technology innovation management, along with business modules, such as international business strategy and principles of marketing practice, allowing students to shape their study to fit their chosen path.
Dundee's regular seminars and guest speakers allow students to learn from those working within the industry, increasing their understanding of real life situations they could face in their career.
Students will also have access to a range of conventional and specialized equipment and software, such as Windows Azure, Teradata and Tableau, helping to further develop their skills and understanding.
Under the guidance of Dundee's academic staff, students will undertake a major software development project. Recent project examples have looked at investigating augmented reality and its potential uses and the design of a computer-intelligible file format for CVs.
