A mining sector decision-maker, such as a CEO, government minister, or managing director, has to understand competing views, compare their implications, and determine a suitable way forward. Students will be equipped to become or to assist C-suite decision-makers. They will learn to be competent in the design and implementation of alternative courses of action in the mining sector.
Students will learn to analyze, synthesize, and articulate concepts and practices relevant to the energy industry. They will understand the fundamental drivers of various energy markets, such as oil, gas, and electric power. Students will acquire foundational and contextual knowledge and skills in management, through classroom and work-based learning, and coaching from specialist academics or senior industry professionals.
