Terrorism, migration, poverty, war, climate change, famine, disease pandemics, gender inequality, financial crises, transnational crime, underdevelopment are some of the issues that can only be fully understood through global politics.
Focusing on the big questions, UEA's MA in International Relations will equip students with the knowledge and skills to grapple with the most urgent issues the world faces today, helping them understand their causes and consequences within the international system.
Students are taught by leading authorities in the field and course modules will get them thinking in new ways as they cover critical issues, key actors and alternative methods of analysis and interpretation. Learners might study war, peace, conflict and security, as well as a range of other transnational dynamics, such as global economics, the environment, human rights, religion and migration.
Recent MA International Relations graduates from UEA have taken jobs in business, teaching, research, journalism, and many international organizations, including the UN, EU and NATO.
