On this course, students will consider the effect of globalization and global operations on financial management. Students will also develop their knowledge and understanding of the varied needs of organizations in both domestic and international financial activities. Industry experts, including senior executives from Northern Trust and Barclays, take part in guest lectures and provide career development advice.
In a typical week, learning takes place through a combination of lectures and seminars. Students will be able to discuss and develop their understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller group sessions. Outside of timetabled sessions, they'll need to dedicate time to self-study to prepare for coursework, presentations and exams. Greenwich's Stockwell Street library and online resources will support further reading and research. Learners can also join a range of student societies, including the Accounting and Finance Society and the Trading and Investment Banking Society.
